About the Organisation

BIIND has broadened its functional horizon to Personal Grooming for housewives and kids. These include Summer Camp and Activity Classes.

Custom-made course

To improve student's English we run custom-made courses exclusively for the students. The advantage of custom-made courses is that they are designed to meet the exact needs of students, whether its a short course to improve basic telephoning skills, a course to develop presentation or negotiation skills, a longer-term course to work on all-round business communication skills, specialist English for banking / marketing / HR or even a general English course to help you socialise more confidently.

Whatever the requirements, all aspects of the course are discussed and agreed with before we start. This includes:
-Syllabus, materials and methods of delivery.
 -Length of course.
-Days and times of the course.
 -Assessment and reporting systems.

The need to speak English in a job is becoming more important in countries such as India as business becomes more global. This can put additional pressure on the job aspirant or future entrepreneur who is seeking employment or business with an organisation.

Basically the lack of spoken English skills leaves a student desperately helpless in his/her quest for a career. For example, a student asks oneself the following questions:
  1. Can I succeed in an interview conducted in English?
2. How will I cope with speaking English throughout my working day?
3. What skills do I need on the telephone when speaking in English?
4. How do I run an effective meeting in spoken English?
5. Am I able to give a management presentation in English?

For some people, these tasks can be difficult even when conducted in their native language. Just think of the additional pressure or stress that this could create if conducted in a second language! That is why training of these skills is so important to students and young professionals.

The inherent challenges faced by Indian students with regard to communicating in English professionally are associated with lack of opportunity in interacting in English and also unavailability of rectification measures. This is even more applicable for youth and drop-outs from smaller towns.

Hence a comprehensive streamlined learning structure has to be formulated for such students so as to bridge this language barrier and thereby instill self-confidence to face the corporate requirements. The proposed teaching method would require customization keeping in mind generation of interest and simplicity but affectivity of learning. This could really transform one's self-confidence and career.

Training Methodology

The learning outcome intends to develop the ability to understand English when it is spoken, speak intelligibly when asked, read for comprehension purpose, write correctly to communicate his/ her ideas, think and enjoy aesthetic beauty in a piece of writing, use library and internet.
The methodology is based on a multi-skill activity-based learner cantered approach. The teacher is a facilitator of learning. He presents language items and creates a situation which motives students to use English for purposes of communication and expression.  Classroom teaching would be supplemented with simultaneous activities laying emphasis on verbal interaction and impromptu public speaking.
Usage of computer, multimedia and internet in the classroom would be promoted for online practices.  Audio-visual aids and software-aided real-time assistance would be used to make the learning process effective.
Valid and valuable feed back, suggestions on how to patch up the lacunas are done. Assignments made to observe the difference of their performance and the model answer displayed thereof.

Creativity itself doesn't care at all about results - the only thing it craves is the process. Learn to love the process and let whatever happens next happen, without fussing too much about it
